I may be biased being a Londoner but London is a stunning city for brand photoshoots. Whether you’re looking for a backdrop that offers natural beauty or architectural beauty, a quirky vibe or a traditional vibe, the prestige of a recognisable landmark or a cosy at-home feel, London has you covered.
I’m happy to explore the city, taking clients to old favourites or venturing into new locations (there are just so many to choose from). For inspiration, here are a few of my favourite locations to take clients to for a brand photoshoot in London.
Clapham Common
It’s my back garden, basically! (Can you tell I live in a flat?) With brand photoshoots in Clapham Common, the grandeur of nature paints a wonderful backdrop for your photos. As Clapham Common Underground Station is just around the corner and Clapham Junction Overground and Mainline Station is a 15 minute walk away from the west side of the park, it’s a perfect photoshoot location for Clapham locals or visitors.

Queens Park
Queens Park is another beautiful public park with a natural landscape. The bandstand in the park is a clue to its rich history. It’s named after Queen Victoria you know! I am also a member of The Hearth, a women’s co-working space which is a great option if you want some photos in a relaxed, stylish and professional backdrop for some of your brand photos. I sometimes venture into the surrounding streets of the gorgeous Victorian and Edwardian buildings when taking brand photos. It’s accessible by a couple of Overground stations on either side – Kensal Rise and Brondesbury Park – and Queens Park Tube Station.

Central London
Central London isn’t just for commuters and tourists! We can take your brand photoshoot to Central London for some great backdrops that tell your brand story, particularly if the city is an important part of your brand identity and a selling point for your ideal clients. Say London in your photos with icons like Tower Bridge, Big Ben or the London Eye in the background. This location will take a bit more travel planning as it’s a wider area. We can meet up at Oxford Circus Underground Station, Charring Cross Mainline Station near The National Gallery or any of the other Central London stations.

Primrose Hill
Primrose Hill is another best-of-both-worlds location. The hill in question provides a beautiful backdrop of the park as well as a panoramic cityscape. It’s a favourite location to add to the shot list because it’s right by so many other bucket list London locations including Regent’s Park and Camden Market. Just get off the Tube at Chalk Farm or the Overground at Camden Road.

Battersea
If you’re looking for grand architecture with the contrast of old, new and nature, then Battersea is a perfect brand photoshoot location. Battersea Power Station is an iconic building sitting at the edge of the Thames. It’s a bustling part of London while also being home to another one of the city’s peaceful parks. Both Clapham Junction and Battersea Park stations border the Battersea area.

Richmond
I could spend a long weekend just taking photos in Richmond! You’ve got the glorious natural beauty of Kew Gardens and Richmond Park. (Who knows, we might catch a deer in the background!) How about a few waterside shots by the Thames? Or we can explore the charming streets full of eclectic shops with plenty of character that will serve as the perfect backdrop for an urban vibe. There are multiple Underground, Overground and Mainline stations in Richmond including Kew Gardens, Richmond and North Sheen.

These are only my top 6 London photoshoot locations. There are plenty of other beautiful backdrops. It’s all about matching the person, business and brand to a set of aligning locations. I explain more about my brand photoshoot process when I outline my brand photography packages.
